Acid etching

Acid Etching is a process during which the external layers of a glass bottle are removed using chemical substances. This results in a unique, non-transparent appearance for the bottle, along with an exceptionally smooth surface with a satin finish.

This matte finish can be applied to the entire bottle or specific areas using a special mask before the decoration process begins.

Frequently, the chemical matting technique is combined with ceramic prints as well as gold or platinum, creating a subtle and elegant look for the final product.
